OXFORD MOVES FORWARD IN 2025 WITH ENHANCED FOCUS ON INFORMATION SECURITY
North Beach, Maryland, April 4, 2025 – OxfordGC is pleased to have originally obtained its
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001:2022 information security
management system certification standard on May 7, 2024. ISO 27001:2022 was again
successfully audited by the National Quality Assurance (NQA) USA group as part of
OxfordGC’s Surveillance 1 audit in early April 2025 with the validity of Certificate Number
19520 extended until May 6, 2027.
Gregg Kelly, CEO and President commented: “In an age of increasing data usage and the risk
of information security breaches and cyber-attacks, the benefits of an OxfordGC ISO
27001:2022 Information Security Management System (ISMS) are clear. Not only can it help to
minimize the chance of breaches occurring, but it can also reduce the costs associated with
keeping information safe. ISO 27001:2022 is one of the world’s best-known International
Standards for the requirements of an ISMS, and the requirements set out in ISO 27001:2022 are
exactly where OxfordGC will continue to posture our firm and our clients within secure
environments that are supported by safeguards that are critical to protecting information and
assets. Keeping sensitive information and our data landscapes safe and secure is essential for
our company.”
Ashley Hunsinger, Contracts Manager commented: “The first and most important benefit of
implementing ISO 27001:2022 is improved risk management and secure information security
processes. ISO standardizes the way information security is managed within our organization.
Based upon a robust risk management framework, ISO implements a top-down approach, which
requires that all our staff have an appropriate level of information security understanding.
