Title: Managing Principal, Technology Business Management

Location: Washington, DC

Job Information: Oxford Government Consulting (Oxford) is seeking an experienced technical program manager to support its management consulting practice. Job Description:

  • Leads IT investment management consulting activities alongside the program manager, technical staff, and federal clients for IT capital planning and investment control (CPIC).
  • Duties include investment management program support, project monitoring and control, meeting facilitation/minutes, high-level analysis, IT strategy support, support related to statutory requirements and compliance, program communications, training, business process reengineering, and/or integration of IT investment processes to other procedures and disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Ten to fifteen years of hands-on technical experience providing program management services and support to public sector organizations.
  • Proven experience supporting the select, control (conducting control reviews), and evaluate phases of IT CPIC regarding compliance with federal guidance, frameworks, and tools.
  • Experience supporting the development and maintenance of OMB Major Business Cases (formerly Exhibit 300s), and Portfolio Summary (formerly Exhibit 53), eCPIC experience.
  • Budget submission and pass-back experience, FITARA support, Technology Business Management (TBM) experience or certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with IT project management processes including, but not limited to, industry standard project management principles and practices such as those defined by the PMI in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Federal Enterprise Architecture, CPIC, SDLC, IT security management, and risk management.
  • IT strategic planning experience and investment group facilitation experience.
  • Ability to provide group facilitation, document minutes, interview, perform CPIC training, and other forms of knowledge transfer.
  • Proven ability to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for federal IT investment projects.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Experience and ability to lead a team.
  • Proven experience communicating and interfacing with senior executives.
  • Consulting presence required.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree

Title: General Clerk III

Salary: $16.65/hr

Oxford is a privately held certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Our consulting practice is centered on providing exceptional technology consultants to the Federal government.

Clearance: Positions require a minimum of a NACI, including a fingerprint. Staff may not start work until the agency security office has provided approval to access contract documents. Security paperwork and fingerprinting will be required and coordinated as part of the hiring process.

Job Description: Oxford Government Consulting (Oxford) is seeking general clerks. The general clerk III provides overall clerical support functions for the processing activities. These activities include:

  • Perform a variety of benefit administration and case processing tasks assigned to higher level staff.
  • Enter data into the client systems of record.
  • Perform tasks associated with the document management activities to include plan and participant file maintenance (scanning, indexing, and document preparation).
  • Develops and performs business processes.
  • Answers benefits questions.
  • May be required to travel for data collection trips.

Required Qualifications:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Two years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the document management field
